Neurological Re-Engineering Internship Program

The BARWIS Corporation is looking for interested applicants to take part in the Neurological Re-Engineering Internship Program at the BARWIS Performance Center in Deerfield Beach, FL.

The Neurological Re-Engineering Program was designed to help maximize the potential of individuals with neurological disorders, diseases, or injuries by providing them with an athletic environment united with passion and the desire to motivate and support one another. In addition to the above, our BARWIS staff uses scientific techniques to help the brain re-establish and create pathways to increase neural stimulus and motor control. As a result, our Neurological Re-Engineering Program has continued to change the lives of individuals across the world.

 

Job Description

The Neurological Re-Engineering Internship will educate and teach proper application of BARWIS Scientific Techniques to increase a person’s neuromuscular activation and control. Interns will not only learn the innate synergistic patterns throughout the body but also how to create and apply proper patterning to all populations, such as athletes, general population, and individuals recovering from injuries. While interns will learn neuromuscular activation and control for all populations, the main focus for this internship will be working with individuals with neurological disorders, diseases, or injuries and be able to apply what they have learned to the training of these individuals.

 

Requirements/Expectations

  • Must be in or graduated from and Exercise Sciente/Kinesiology/Rehab Sciences Related Field
  • Must be respectful, caring, eager to learn, and open minded
  • Must have a motivational and positive/friendly personality with a passion for assisting others in achieving their goals
  • 250 Hours minimum that must be completed in 12 weeks
  • Must attend all teaching sessions; if it is not possible to attend one then it will be made up at different time
  • Must pass written, verbal, and practical exams

 

Note: There is a fall, spring, and summer internship block, each only lasting for 12 weeks, unless discussed otherwise. Affiliation agreements can be established with schools to give students the opportunity to receive class credit. This internship is designed to feed into a part-time/full-time position within the company upon completion.
