Environmental Sciences Intern
The Opportunity
As an Environmental Intern, you will work with the Environmental team and serve as a resource on assigned projects depending on area of specialization. Project Focus could include one or more of the following:
Environmental Science & Ecology
Environmental Regulation & Permitting
Air Regulation & Sciences
Climate Solutions
Construction Stormwater & Environmental Compliance
Acoustics & Noise Control
Remediation & Due Diligence
Researches, organizes, collects, and analyzes information and data
Assists in preparation of reports
Maintains records and documentation as required for back-up of completed tasks
Individual contributor with no subordinates

Minimum Qualifications
No experience required. Current enrollment at a university in related program of specialty. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Work Environment
Professionals located near a Black & Veatch office have the option of a hybrid work model that offers a balance between working together in person and the flexibility of remote work. Our hybrid work model means you will work three days in the office and two days from another location of your choice.
This hybrid role will be located in Overland Park, Kansas.
