Kumon is an after-school math and reading program. We employ a unique learning method and curriculum that unlocks children’s potential by helping them achieve more on their own. We work with preschool to high school students to develop critical academic and study skills. This job is a para-professional position involving the provision of instructional assistance to preschool and kindergarten children and performing related tasks.

•   Works with preschool and Kindergarten children to help them develop basic pre-reading and number skills utilizing Kumon worksheets and supplemental materials. 

•   Grades students’ classwork and homework. 

•   Organizes students’ work files in chronological order. 

•   Observes students while administering worksheets according to the Kumon Method. 

•   The E/L Assistant reads aloud with Reading students and counts with Math students.

•   Works in a friendly, team environment to help make the class a success.

•   Performs other related duties as assigned.
