SEAMS Intern
Overview
IMSA’s PROMISE (Providing Opportunities for Mathematics and Science Enrichment) program is looking for interns who are undergraduate or graduate students in STEM fields, English or education to assist with it's SEAMS program.
SEAMS (Summer Enrichment for Academics in Mathematics and Science) is a 10-day residential program for students who will be high school freshmen in the fall. Students receive instruction in mathematics,

The internship will begin June 18-June 29, 2022 and will take place on the IMSA Aurora campus. Hours will be 8:30 am until 5:00 pm with compensation at a rate of $14 per hour, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Free on campus housing may also be available for graduate students only.
Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- assist teachers in classroom instruction
- provide one-on-one and small group support
- design and deliver supplemental lessons
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Be a current undergraduate or graduate student in STEM, English, or Education.
