BMA is proud to announce the launch of a Teacher Fellowship Opportunity! Our Teacher Fellowship is open to College/ Graduate students who would like to be given the amazing opportunity of student teaching at BMA which can then lead to a pull time paid position for the following school year.

Candidates should be growth oriented, dynamic and committed to data driven and child centered learning. The ideal candidate is someone who creates a classroom that is safe and supportive, where students are positively engaged and where learning is personalized to each student's ability.  

Responsibilities include assisting in the following: 

Aligning instruction with current standards

Developing weekly lesson plans that meet the educational needs of each individual student

Using a variety of instructional strategies

Communicating with parents and other professionals in a manner that enhances student knowledge and understanding

Responding to student needs in a manner that is consistent with their developmental stage

Managing the educational setting in a manner that promotes positive student behavior

Collaborating with other professional and parents for the benefit of the students

Designing and implementing instructional strategies when additional intervention is required

Collecting and reporting student data in a timely and effective manner

Supervising students during non-instructional times
