Manufacturing Engineering -Lean Manufacturing -CNC Supervisor
Job Description
Primary Purpose:
Supervises the activities of Charlotte Roadway Shop craft mechanics for the overhaul, repair, or construction of roadway equipment, components, and parts to support Engineering maintenance activities.
Principal Duties:
- Provides safety and procedural training of subordinates.
- Communicates with internal customers to determine needs and find solutions for customer concerns.
- Requires technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as well as expertise in shop operations.
- Operate manufacturing equipment such as milling machines, lathes, surface grinders etc.
