Fundraising and Marketing Fall 2020 Virtual Internship - Blossom Hill Foundation

up to 15 hours total student can work

The Blossom Hill is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates out of New Canaan, CT. It was founded in 2009 by Shiva Sarram, a former child of war from Iran, who fled Tehran in the early 1980's with her family and came to America where Shiva and Blossom Hill's Board of Directors are committed to investing in social entrepreneurs to help children affected by conflict in the Middle East thrive.

The intern will engage in primarily fundraising efforts as well as marketing support. Responsibilities include:

• Research new donor prospects

• Work with video and photograph assets to create messaging for donors

• Identify potential donors and set up meetings amongst the Arab-American community

• Work on outreach for our Fellowship program to solicit candidates

• Open to other possibilities depending on the skills and interests of the intern
