Special Projects Administrator 1

This position is responsible for directing and coordinating the Community Action and Human
Services Department's communications and public relations programs and initiatives into a
cohesive effort that conveys a consistent message in support of its mission, strategic
goals, and services. This position entails developing and implementing department-wide
communications and marketing plan, including specific programmatic marketing plans and a
cohesive on-line social media strategy to help attract audiences and advance clients and the
public's understanding of CAHSD and its services in close collaboration with other County
communications and/or public relations activities; implementing systems for measurement, tracking and assessment of audience awareness, engagement and usage of CAHSD media services; and responsible for the creative design and production of CAHSD printed materials, event promotion, advertisements and e-communications.
