Director, Senior Citizen Center
The City of Trussville seeks a Director, Senior Citizen Center position involves planning, coordinating, and implementing recreational and nutrition programs for senior citizen center patrons. Work often involves scheduling class instructors, trips, and other activities based on patron interest and budget. Work also involves supervising staff, volunteers, and maintaining and providing input for the senior citizen center budget. The following minimum qualifications are required:
- Driver's License.
- Experience organizing a variety of leisure, recreation, or community events/activities (e.g., organizing travel events, various classes, event planning, etc.).
- Experience conducting recreation activities (e.g., teaching classes, selecting licensed instructors, organizing volunteers, etc.).
- Experience making budget recommendations and monitoring financial resources.
