Data Acquisition Engineer
Data Acquisition Engineer:
- Responsible for ensuring successful completion of full-size vehicle or pneumatic sled testing to regulations. Involves reviewing impact test regulations and test request provided by requester, providing work instructions to Salaried Bargaining Unit technicians and mechanics, performing test to regulations, and post-test data validation. Will be involved with development and implementation of new test methods and/or equipment. Includes 1st and/or 2nd shift, and weekends as needed.
Required requirements
- BSEE from ABET accredited school
Preferred requirements
- 0-2 years experience
- Automotive co-op
Work environment
- This position is located at the Proving Grounds. You will be in an office cubicle setting and also in the test garages and outdoor test tracks. Ability to manage SBU technicians/mechanics to perform required instrumentation and test setups.
