MARKETING + GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN
ROLE OBJECTIVE
During your internship, you will gain real world marketing experience including but not limited to budgeting, strategy, product development, social media, customer interaction and creative branding.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This individual reports directly to the Director of Marketing. This is a part-time, entry-level, contract position. The individual best suited for this role will have a highly creative and artistic nature. This person will be self-motivated, follow direction well and be detail-oriented. This position requires a positive attitude and willingness to work on a wide variety of projects both digitally and in a production capacity. An interest in hospitality or event management is a plus.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Contribute creatively to marketing campaign strategy
2. Occasional writing projects
3. Oversee at least (1) of the Koncept Events social media platforms and provide regular reporting
4. Take direction and develop marketing/branded graphic design for branded product, gifting, social media, web, etc.
5. Assist in creating sales Prezi presentations
6. Manage marketing department branded inventory and gift requests
7. Support photography and videography production and editing
8. Occasionally attend company events or networkers with Marketing Director or Operations Team
9. Assist Operations team as needed with design of program elements such as invitation, menus, table cards, etc.
10. Opportunity for onsite event production experience if desired
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Mid-level to expert knowledge in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator (required)
2. Experience in video editing software
3. Creative, outside the box thinker
4. Comfortable with various writing formats including blogs, press releases and social media posts using proper English with a creative twist.
5. Strong desire to stay on top of trends in various fields – it all comes into play at events!
6. Positive, helpful attitude
RATE: $10 per hour with 15-20 hours per week anticipated and a minimum 3 month commitment
