The WSDOT Office of Human Resources & Safety is currently seeking a Human Resource Consultant 4 (In-Training) to support the Northwest Region. This position serves as the professional expert providing advice and consultation to the management and staff within it assigned customer groups. Assignments often require proactive intervention and have wide or precedent-setting impacts. The Human Resource Consultant 4 handles the organizations most sensitive, complex, and critical human resources issues and provides advice and guidance on a wide variety of strategic and operational topics. This position directly supports the agency goal areas of Workforce Development and Inclusion to be an employer of choice and employ a workforce that reflects the many diverse communities we serve. This position also supports Practical Solutions as a collaborative business partner with our managers to help guide the right investments in the right places at the right time while using the right approach.
*This in-training position offers a career path and on-the-job training and allows you to progress through the Human Resources field, achieving the goal class of a Human Resources Consultant 4. Candidates will be considered as a HRC3 or HRC4 depending on qualifications.
