Social Media Intern (Unpaid)

General Summary
The goal of the Nourish Project is to provide educational resources focused on nutrition for pre-diabetics and type-II diabetics for Asian cuisines. We create healthy and culturally relevant meals for eating at home and eating out. You will be mainly working with Minal Moharir, MD, Clinical Assistant Professor of the Occupational Health Center at Stanford University.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design social media content for FB to achieve marketing targets
• Research how to create bite-size contents for nutritional education 
• Administer company social media accounts, ensuring up-to-date content, including scheduling, timely posting and monitoring user engagement
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPI) and make recommendations for improvement. 
• Evaluate, guide and track results of all social media campaigns using social analytics platform
 
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of how to manage and increase engagement using Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms
  • Knowledge of community outreach; experience in building community partnerships
  • High level of interpersonal skills necessary to provide counseling to end-users and their families on nutrition related issues
  • Ability to work in a changing environment
 
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • 5-10 hours per week
  • Work remotely with meetings on zoom.
