Screen Rant is the #1 independent entertainment website on the web, and the editorial team is looking for a dedicated editor to grow their skills within our Tech team.
We are connecting with senior students and recent graduates who are interested in developing their skills, gaining experience, and making valuable industry connections. If you are plugged into all things tech (product leaks, laptops, headphones, smartwatches, desktop computers, soundbars, TVs, tablets, phones, streaming devices, monitors, cameras, apps) and you have editorial experience, we want to hear from you.
As an editor for Screen Rant, you will work with a dedicated team to create original and informative articles. We need you to be a self-starting, hard-working and dynamic writer who can investigate, research and produce compelling news copy to tight deadlines and strict editorial standards.

This role is entirely remote, and the hours are flexible.
Job Responsibilities:
- Publish (write and edit) a minimum of 10 posts daily
- Lead by example, writing your own articles as required and self-publish your written work
- Must be able to quickly write and edit feature and editorial content for Screen Rant, and help develop and manage content plans and writers
- Keep a finger on the pulse, manage our stories list, and ensure priority stories are being published
- Generate and pitch new ideas/topics
- Stay up to date on the latest entertainment tech news and trends
Applicants must be highly motivated and possess the following requirements:
- Relevant experience in writing and editing
- Broad knowledge of technology, hardware, and tech trends
- Available at strategic times
- Quick learner who takes initiative
- Excellent command of the English language
- Ability to write articles free of typos and grammatical errors
Applicants with experience in the following areas will be given favourable consideration:
- Image editing experience
- SEO knowledge
- Managerial experience
