Business Development Associate Fall/Winter Intern

Job Summary:


Bringx is looking for a business development associate intern. A successful candidate will have excellent communication and listening skills, enjoy having conversations with new people, and not afraid to speak up in conflicting negotiation settings.

You will be responsible for developing relationships with local businesses, negotiating terms, communicate customer needs with our business partners, and helping with logistic management.

You will gain experience in working in a fast-paced early stage startup and have the opportunity to work across business development, marketing, product, and design teams. You will get an internship certificate at the end of this program.





Responsibilities:


  • Identify potential merchant partners in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective partner’s business and equipment needs

  • Develop relationships with prospective partners, while maintaining existing partner relationships

  • Partner with marketing teams to optimize marketing campaigns on the customer side

  • Negotiate contract terms with partners and communicate terms to stakeholders

  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure a great partnership experience

  • Become a subject matter expert on supply chain processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news





Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related field

  • Excellent communication and listening skills

  • Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access

  • Basic understanding of the online grocery industry and latest marketplace technologies, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job

  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving skillsÂ
