Marketing Specialist
THE POSITION
Below is a brief overview of the role, not a full job description.
- Coordinates and conducts marketing strategies, public relations, promotions and communication efforts to develop the City.
- Edits and distributes timely and accurate information to media outlets, the City's Public Information Officer (PIO) and the general public.
- Develops and maintains content and images for the Economic Development Department's (EDO's) website, electronic newsletters and surveys and various social media platforms.
- Coordinates internal and contracted advertising/marketing services and promotional activities.
- Serves as the EDO liaison to advertising agencies, media, vendors, the City's PIO and community organizations.
- Performs other related duties as required.
