Internship - IT Business Analyst

TWC internships offer real-life experience in public service. Interns can gain practical experience with a wide variety of software engineering tasks while collaborating hand-in-hand with skilled teams of software engineers. There will be shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with talented professionals and opportunity to participate in networking events and company meetings. Interns may also perform entry-level administrative support or technical program assistance work depending on agency need and the interns unique skills. The intern will work under close supervision and will be provided feedback.
TWC is seeking an IT Business Analyst Intern to work for the IT Service Management team (ITSM). The Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) team focuses on enhancing the quality of services provided by IT and our customers experience. This includes the TWC Self-Service Portal, Self-Service Password, the IT Service Catalog and supporting processes. The IT Business Analyst intern will be responsible for the following task:
- Documenting System Design
- Creating test scenarios
- Testing application features
- Assisting with and/or modify process documentation
- Coordinating training for New Hire training
- Completing data scrubbing
- Completing special projects as assigned
The department is seeking an intern who is majoring in Information Technology. The ideal intern will work well in a team environment. An intern with excellent technical writing and analytical skills is preferred.

TWC Internships are full or part-time, temporary positions that cannot be filled for more than six months in a year. The internship pays $2,600 per month at a full-time status and comes with some benefits.
- Graduation from an accredited high school or successful completion of GED certification.
- Proof of enrollment at an accredited college or university must be provided.
- Continued enrollment may be required throughout internship.
- No working experience required.
