Treasury Intern – Stamford CT

As a Treasury Intern you will have the opportunity to work on projects across Treasury Operations, Global Treasury Planning, and Pension and Benefit Investments. Potential projects include analyzing bank fees or other data, assisting with cash flow forecasting, testing new Treasury systems or building dashboard reports for global investments. Your internship will provide global treasury exposure and an understanding of core functions such as cash management, treasury products, retiree benefits and investment, debt and derivative instruments.
You will assist with projects such as:
  • Implementing a bank fee analysis software and identify potential areas of cost reduction
  • Learn the cash flow forecasting process and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Helping test updated SAP Treasury functionality and develop additional test scenarios as required
  • Build a dashboard to track global investments and compliance
  • Evaluate a third-party investment platform
  • Document retiree benefit processes
Your background:
As a Treasury Intern, you have:
  • BA candidate (senior or rising senior) with focus on Finance, Accounting or related field of study
  • Must have taken a Financial Accounting class
  • Interest in Treasury
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate or advanced Excel Skills
  • Possess intellectual curiosity to learn current processes and identify areas for improvement
  • High standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized; attention to detail is very important
