CREEC Program Specialist (Coordinator I-NE)

The City of Portland is seeking a Program Specialist within the Portland Bureau of Transportation!
The position: The purpose of this Program Specialist position is to provide administrative support, reporting, and forecasting to plan, design and construct ADA compliant curb ramps throughout the City in support of the City's goal to become a City accessible by all.

The duties of the Program Specialist include the following:
  • Organize, plan and provide supporting documentation of the inspection and acceptance of ADA curb ramp construction through the City.
  • Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Provide administrative support to the CREEC engineering and construction squad as requested.
  • Perform staffing projections, budgeting, and forecasting and the delivery of capital projects designed, approved and/or constructed by PBOT's Civil Design (and Construction Management) Division.
 
An ideal candidate will have experience in the proper handling of confidential, sensitive and privileged information, excellent organizational and communication skills, and previous experience in working with the public. They will have excellent time-management skills, expertise in excel, word, or similar document software. Previous experience in data management, performance tracking, and scheduling software is desired although not required.
