Duties: Apply sound pharmacological research skills and methodologies to the study of neurodegenerative diseases. Culture and maintain cell lines; perform statistical analysis of data; interpret and present results; write manuscripts for publication, scientific papers, and grant renewals. Maintain and organize laboratory equipment and supplies. Support faculty, research associates, and graduate students.

Requirements: MS in Pharmacology or related field. Highly proficient in: statistical data analysis; culturing and maintaining cell lines; DNA, RNA and Protein isolation and purification; western blotting techniques; cDNA Microarray, GeneSifter data analysis; coordinating the purchase of major laboratory equipment and supplies; and organizing inventories. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
