Applications Analyst III - Generalist

The Applications Analyst III will be a member Bureau of Technology Services (BTS) applications team that is responsible for the support, development, and maintenance of applications and databases for the City's Bureau of Transportation (PBOT). The portfolio of supported applications includes enterprise asset management (EAM) systems, geographic information systems (GIS), internal and external facing web applications, REST web services and other applications that support PBOT's numerous functions.

Employees in this classification perform the most difficult and responsible types of duties within the Applications Analyst series, including maintaining large or complex City applications and serving in a project lead capacity on specialized applications development projects. The AAIII is expected to operate under minimal supervision.

The following knowledge and experience is highly desirable although not required for this position.
